On September 4 and 5, Korean culture took centre stage at GALERIA in Frankfurt. The well-attended Korean Culture Festival welcomed numerous visitors, offering an opportunity to discover the many facets of South Korea.
The Jeonnam-Gwangju Europe Office joined the event to introduce the beautiful province of Jeonnam and the vibrant city of Gwangju in southwestern South Korea. Through tourism information, prize draws, and a creative Norigae workshop, the team showcased the region’s cultural richness and travel highlights.
The Norigae workshop offered a hands-on introduction to Korean tradition. Participants had the opportunity to create their own traditional Korean decorative pendants and take a little piece of Korean culture home with them.
The two-day festival provided a wonderful setting for personal encounters and cultural exchange. The Jeonnam-Gwangju Europe Office was delighted by the strong interest and the opportunity to introduce the region to a wider audience, inspiring visitors to discover this special part of South Korea for themselves.
