“Single Variety – Saecheongmu Rice”
Saecheongmu Rice is a variety developed over a decade by Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, officially produced in 2017 as a representative strain of Jeollanam-do. The rice grains are transparent, firm, and yield chewy, delightful texture when cooked. It boasts a rich gloss and sticky texture. With lower protein content, the rice offers an excellent taste, and even when cooled, it retains its original flavor. -Saecheongmu Rice requires slightly more water than usual for cooking, as the grains are firm and granulated.
